Need Help: 78 Heat Riser Actuator
I've got a 78 L-82 and am replacing the Heat Riser. Dose anyone know where I can buy the heat riser actuator and rod assembly as well? I've got the heat riser valve itself ordered from ZIP, but can't find a vacuum actuator and rod assembly. Anyone know of a supplier?
Also, is there a heat riser gasket on a 78? When I searched the forum threads, it appeared that folks were split on that decision.

There was no heat riser gasket originally but they are available at
NAPA and other parts stores for those that think there should be one.
The actuator and rod are available quiet often on ebay and should be available from the various Corvette dismantlers.A dismantler that alot of folks here on the forum recommend is
