I just purchased my first (hopefully not my only) corvette, and just thought I'd post and say hello. I had to do a lot of talking (convince the wife) , but now I'm the proud owner of a 1975 stingray! I'm bound to have some questions on it, so this looks like a pretty good forum with a lot of great info just from browsing the posts. Any advice for a new Owner of a C3 corvette?

congrats and welcome. My advice is to spend some time going over every inch of the car looking for something that "Bubba" may have jerry-rigged in the past. Catching problems before they do harm is so much easier. Other than that, wash her, wax her and most importantly, DRIVE HER! Enjoy.

Congrats. I just bought a 74 about 2 months ago and love the car. Be prepared to spend some money fixing it up. Best recommendation is to drive it, get used to it, and take care of mandatory repairs for safety and preservation as they arise. Then develop a master plan, do some research, modify the plan, purchase parts, attack. good luck. I'm in New Baltimore if you need some help.
