Default Found "the feeling" again...

After 4 years of rebuilding the car I finally had the car completed. I then bought another C3, which I did body-on restoration. I sold the car the day I had it done. Then I started working on the 63 roadster project, it has taken all my spare time and I really haven't been enjoying the hobby for awhile. The weather has been crap, there's been this and that keeping me from driving the cars.

After I finished the big brake conversion and took the car for a spin, it made me realize what I'd been missing out. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, it feels good to burn rubber throught the 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. Do some serious powersliding and just enjoy driving it, since this car is like no other. Now the weather has turned to what it should be at this time of the year. I'm definately going to do a lot more driving this summer!

Can't wait to take it to the drag strip next saturday...

I've only been out twice this year. Weather has been wet and cold. It was 6C (45F or so) on the weekend. Glad you got the feeling back. I'm still looking....

Once again its a great looking car! It would certainly be a waste not driving it

How do you like the new brakes, worth the money?

You'll find it I'm sure. I'm currently putting PS and PB on my dads non power anything 65 coupe. He bought the car because he always wanted a mid year coupe, but like they say never meet your idols...

Without the PS and PB it's not that much fun to drive around the town. I'm hoping he likes the car more with the new creature comforts...

The new brakes are out of this world. I get tons of pedal feel and tons of braking power now. Still I would say, not worth the money since I practically had to re-make the whole kit to make it work...

Did you sell your car? I remember seeing you post something about it while back. I hope you got to keep it, one of my favourites!

I know the feeling. It was 10 long years before I got to drive mine again since my restoration took much longer than I anticipated.
Talk about withdrawal symptoms,,,,
I finally got to drive it again last month and it brought back all those good feelings. I will enjoy it this summer.
