The first trip I took with my car, I left the gas key home because "I didn't have the cap locked". I stopped at a station for gas and you know what happened. Was not able to get it off at the pump but was lucky enough to make it to my destination on fumes I'm sure. I no longer have the locking cap on the car.

I screwed mine on too tight one time and it would just spin the top trying to get it off. So I just grabbed around it and popped the top off then used some pliers to get the bottom part unscrewed. Those locking caps aren't all that secure. Guess it'd stop a petty criminal, though.
