anyone using engine compartment lighting?
i saw some pretty cool looking engine lights on a harley. blue and green highlighting the chrome on the engine, was wondering if anyone has installed this in the engine compartment for shows/ cruise nights? here's one site i found, this would really light up the chrome/jet coating in a engine bay-------------------------------http://www.customdynamics.com/motorcycle_lights.htm or this one------------------------------------http://www.customdynamics.com/

I'm a big fan of LED lights. Like I have said in the past ebay is the best place to buy them. My grandfather sells LED stuff for trucks but he still can't beat the pricing. I plan on add LED to replace all my interior lights and the thought of some lighting in the engine compartment doesn't sound like a bad idea.

I was seriously thinking about adding some underhood lighting to my '70 before I sold it. The engine compartment was spotless and dressed up well so I actually went out and started looking at different lighting systems. I thought it would be great for the shows when the hood was up.
At the last minute I "chickened out" 'cause I thought the all Vette guys (that's all of you guys too) would think it was too rice.
