Need to replace the lower a arms on my vette. At 150.00 plus 100.00 core fee (my arms are not rebuildable) looking into the benefits of spending a few bucks more for the upgrade. Any one have this set up? Pro/cons? Car is used as a sometimes driver/steet car. Thanks in advance for your response. Bob

Bob,
I have a set of lower control arms that I have just removed from my '82 Vette with 82,000 miles. They are in real nice shape, just need wire brushing and paint to look good. If you are interested I can let you have both lower A-arms for $50 with no core fees.
I am heading to OBX, NC this Friday (06/16/2006) and can bring the parts with me if you wanted to meet up on my drive down or if you have PayPal you can send the $50 plus shipping (probably $30 due to the weight) to me prior to Friday.
I also have a set of upper A-arms for sale.
It's GRRRRRRRREAT !!! I have the upper & lower A-arms & the mono spring for 10+ years now. One of the best upgrades I did.
what setting do u have yours on and what shocks do u have up front? mine will be on the road in a couple days w/my new upper & lower Aarms & monospring
Carrera adjustable shocks set on the softest (70/30) setting and the spring is set on the second from the softest setting. I do NOT do any autocross racing (it's got to be great for that). The car does sit a "few" inches lower compared to othe C3s with a stock setup.

Thanks to all for the responses. I think I will upgrade this winter. Big thanks to 82MDVette for the reeplacement a arms enabling me to get the car back on the road. This forum is great!
