Today, I drove my Lincoln to work... A beautiful '82 Collectors Edition Vette pulled into the company parking garage in front of me.. I thought that I was the only C3 owner at my place of work.. Looks like I was wrong...

I have seen two others at my place of work. Although, I would never take mine to work. Too many dillwoods not paying attention and my daily driver is full of door dings. I might get upset if I came out and my vette was dinged like that.
Heck-- I've got a 69 vert and I drive it to work everyday rain or shine. Just not when it's snowy or salt on the roads...which works out to about half the year. lol
Who wants to guess the nicest car at my work, Probably a 02 Ford focus with chrome taillights... Wow Cant wait to pull my c3 into the parking lot next to all the beaters and suvs. Im worried of it being keyed, so im making sure iw ill park it in the only spot that has a camera in it on the whole lot.(noone knows where it is but a couple people )
If someone had a c3 and made it there dd like me at my work, they would be my new best friend.
If i had a pefect condition car i woudlnt drive it as a dd but since its my Project iwt will be a dd Rain Snow Or sun(just no hail ) I feel my roads rocks and dirt, whats a little salt, long as you power wash the bottom after your done for the day.
I've driven that red vert to work for at least two years now-- I can count on one hand the number of people that have bothered to comment or ask about the car. Not that I care, but if someone was driving an old car to work, you can bet I'd be trying to talk a little shop with him.
Although there was a day when a guy parked next to me in a newer Saleen Mustang. He said something like "Nice car, but I don't think you could keep up with me". I just smiled and told him I'm confident he's absolutely right. I walked towards the building lobby while he stayed behind still staring at my car...
The one funny thing is my office has a 6 story concrete parking structure. My exhaust isn't that loud, but it does have a nice low rumble. Every day while I'm slowly driving up the ramps to find a parking spot, my exhaust starts resonating with the concrete structure and I can just feel this super low resonance going right through my body. Inevitably at least one car alarm goes off.

No leaks? I had 5 C3 Verts and all of them had some kind of leak in heavy tropical downpours...
