So here’s the problem, ive got a 77 t-top with hopefully a suspension, I say this because the only other alternative I could see would be blown spider gears and my father seems to think that the diff. is fine. sitting in my driveway the right rear tire seems to be tilted in at the top maybe a half inch, also when I make long sweeping right-hand turns while accelerating I hear a clanking noise, not sure what it is, please help. The trailing arms were rebuilt last Christmas and it has new shocks and spring also new poly bushings. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can't help with the clanking noise, but our vets need both front and rear alignment. In the rear, the camber is negative...this is the tilt in at the top that you describe. Go to corvettefaq.com and you will see some information on alignment.

Were the half-shafts rebuilt? Have you crawled under to see if the strut rod camber adjustment is loose?
