last night the #8 audi team changed a transmission in about 8 minutes (just over 2 laps). The went in leading by 4 laps + a little, came out leading by just over 2 laps
Preparation and quick changes
The reporters said that the audi team had practiced that change for 2 days before coming to Le Mans

I was watching the Corvette in car camara, and two things surprised me. First, the drivers gloves look like firefighters gloves, nothing like Forumla 1 gloves, and second, the right hand comes off of the wheel an awful lot for shifting. Why don't they put paddle shifters behind the steering wheel? The new C6 autos have something akin to paddle shifters, I wonder if we can adapt any of that to our auto C3s? That another thread for me to start.

That tells me the GM paddle shifters are not "race ready"....
Corvette and Panoz over Ferrari and Porsche hehe wonder what the Ferrari faithfull have to say now
A 7 liter Corvette beat a 4.3 liter Ferrari. They beat a 3.6 liter Porsche too.
Bee Jay, a Ferrari (and Porsche) faithful.
Congratulations team Corvette.
Bee Jay, a Corvette faithful too.
Aston Martin and Panoz did well too. I love all exciting sports cars. Wish I could own all of them. Got the Vette and Porsche already, hope to own Ferrari some day.
