Default Converrtible Deck Lid Adjustment

The gaps on my Decklid are narrow on drivers side and wide on passenger side. Also not parallel. Adjusting at the hinges should correct both problems. What can I expect as far as the convert top pin attachments at the lid. Also both the Conv. top and hardtop alignment at the windshield header.

Aligning the decklid should not affect rear bow attachment. Not unless it's way far out of whack.

Al, You can adjust the gaps with the hinges. You will probably need to adjust the rear pins as well to avoid stress on the top frame. The deck adjustment will have no effect on the front header pin location. There are several adjustment points for the soft top, if your goal is to even up the gaps, okay, but if the top isn't fitting properly now, that's a different story and adjustment.

Just did my 69, and I had to enlarge the slots on the hinges to get it to line up right.
