What POR15 product/s do I need to order for my frame and suspension parts? I want a Gloss Black finish, the web order form confused me. Also a while back I saw somewhere a kit with like 3 colors available, any ideas?

They have a gloss black in POR15, I used 2 qts to do my frame and the lower a arms, I bought 2 1qt kits off ebay, it came with the Marine clean and the metal ready. Check this out it has good tips.
You may want to put a Por-15 clear coat on top. The regular Por-15 leaves a nice glossy coating, but it can fade, as it is not UV tolerant. The frame won't see much daylight, but the engine compartment & some suspension parts might, especially at local shows.
Just curious on the Por 15 product. Is there any folks out there that have applied it years ago and can tell us how it holds up over time? As well as how they prepped the frame prior to use.? Have allwasy been sceptical of these product vs. a good old fashion zinc enriched primer base, epoxy primer 2nd coat and a chassis black top coat. All over a sandblasted frame.
thanks
I did a body off on my 66 4 years ago. I had the frame and a arms sand blasted. I used Por 15 but not the glossy but the standard classic black because it was closer to manufacturer color. It has held up great. no peeling or discolor. The only area I has it peel on was below the master cylinder. I had a brake fluid leak and it dripped down on the frame and took the Por 15 right off.
I bought the kit from eastwood. See: www.eastwood.com.
my body off was done in 2001 and this is a photo taken a few weeks back,,its like it was done yesterday, all the pored tie rods ect are still flawless,,perp is very important medal ready ect,,best to talk to the pros your friendly por -15 dealer ,do a search on por 15 and a lot of dealers will come up..i use dave stubbs from chevy vette fest imperial restorations my por was top coated with g m chassis black,,,i like the satin finish rather than the glossy look,,also gm chassis black in engine compartment and on fiberglass under car and under hood--all the metal (tie rods steering components and rear spindles ect are por -15 with a coat of metal mask which is a por product to look like untreated metal,,then i went over that with there glossy clear coat they call glisten p c which is a rock hard clear coat you add a hardner to it,,it resists rock chips so it will be a driver and a show car the next weekend, i used the toughest materials i could find under my car so i could drive it while i show it with mirrors and lights under the car--------------------

Your better off doing it your way with a sand blasted frame, cause POR sticks better to rust. Even if a tiny bit of surface rust, it sticks better.
