I always put mine up on jack stands both sides when working on anything wheel related.

Nice ride by the way!

I wouldn't worry too much about leaving just the front or just the rear on stands for any length of time. I had the back of mine on jackstands with the front tires on the ground for about 4 months this winter and both doors still opened and closed perfectly the whole time. however I wouldn't want to leave it jacked up on only 1 corner for any length of time.

Better safe than sorry ... for both you & car. Others may call it **** ... but I prefer to err on the side of caution.

C3 vert is not as solid as coupe ... vert flexes more.

Suggest jacking incrementally & putting in stands all around. Be gentle ... jack just enough to get a short stand in ...then move on to nearby stand position ... then go 'round & raise stands a bit at a time.

I did own a DD 71 coupe ... I do own a DD 71 vert.
