Default scam or not.....? usps confirmation

i'm selling my highend camcorder and i have a buyer that said he will send a confirmation through usps for payment. then once received i will get paid and then ship...... anyone do that?.....

sounds fishy but then again i have no clue.....

does the usps dish out cash like that on an order?
$1600 is the selling price

yeah,

i think it's a scam....

first he does a usps money order
then send me a so called fedex shipping label with a confirmation number on it...wtf....... then tells me to email so and so when i drop it off.......

how can u get a tracking number before you drop it off?

i'm gonna go tot the usps and see what's up..... if they say they can cash the money order then i'll do it....but it seems a bit weird to me..

and i need the cash.....wtf

If this is being shipped out of the country, DO NOT SHIP IT. It is a scam. I've read about this stuff. Do some research. This is definitely a scam. The only way is if you get the money order and you cash it. I have been reading your posts and I know you need money so don't ship it. Find someone else to buy it.

You MUST have the $$$$ in hand prior to shipping the item. On many internet transactions that I have made, I have sent postal money orders and then relied on the seller to comply and complete the transaction. As a buyer, I would not expect the seller to ship the item before I paid for it.

Do not stick your neck out on this one, find another buyer.

It's a real number, but real numbers are easy to generate. There is no way in hell I'd send this fool anything. Where did he get the USPS money order? They don't sell them outside of the US. I'd tell him to take a hike. I assume you sold this on ebay, I never sell to anyone outside the country.

Sorry Ratflinger, but there are honest people in other countries wanting to buy good only available in the US, me being one of them.
If they are honest like me they will have a paypal account or similar to do the transaction. Only ship the good when the payment is in your account or cash is in your hand. Steer clear of western union payments as they have a history of going through then getting withdrawn.
