Wheel Questions

Just installed a set of Torque Thrust IIs (17x8) with 245/45/17 Goodyears. Anybody know the recommended tire pressure and lugnut torque specs for this setup?

Tire sidewalls should indicate recommended tire pressure. Torque specs for lug nuts should be same as for factory wheels.

Sidewalls only indicate the maximum pressure, and the factory specs are for steel wheels. Wanted to make sure it's correct for aluminum wheels.

I have a set of 15" TT2's and torque the lugs at 85 ft/lbs and have had NO problems.....

Also, I went ahead and purchased a complete set of McGard solid chrome lug nuts....so far NO RUST!

Bump.

Tire pressure for 17s, anybody? That rubber gets expensive if you wear it out prematurely.

NO!!Do not use the pressure on the sidewall that is not the recommended pressure,it is MAXIMUM pressure for that tire.That is a common mistake I see alot of people make.I would run about 32 pounds.

Not to mention it would ride like the Flintstones' car.
