C3 muffler blackout
have a 72 vette, current soon to be removed mufflers are gloss black from what i can see semi or gloss. Would anyone know what paint to use to paint the mufflers? gloss, semi. satin????????
Thanks have new aluminized ones to match pipes now. Any help is always apprieciated.

I've read in NCRS forums that they were painted but never found what gloss? At diff shows see them painted and not painted. They are semi or gloss now on the ones i'm replacing. Waiting today for UPS to deliver Corvette Central magnaflows and debating to paint or not. going to shop monday for install and if i paint want them to cure a few days.
