"gill" insert question
i was able to pick up some gill inserts real cheap since they needed some work.
now i know the edges are supposed to be chrome, but whats the inside supposed to be? from the pictures ive seen, i cant tell if thats supposed to be frosted metal or paint.
heres what the worst one of mine looks like.
if these are supposed to be painted, what kind of paint am i looking for so i can finish these properly?

Thought so, but wasn't 100% sure.
