Front Brakes Sticking
I just bought a 71 and had to go through state inspection. Found out both front wheels are locking up after the brakes warm up. If I take the car around the block and then jack up the front I can hardly turn the tires. Once they cool down they spins normally. The mechanic said put new hoses on, ??????. Not sure what he was thinking but I put all new front hoses, steel and rubber. Still the same. The calipers are new (less than 100 miles from previous owner). Brakes stop and feel good, just front wheel are locking up.

Your mechanic was thinking the inside of the hoses were swelling shut.Drive your car again jack it up-if wheel turns hard open bleeder valve on that caliper to release pressure if it has remaining pressure-if this makes wheel turn easier then you still have pressure on system-causes are the hoses or master cylinder-if the pedal is not returning or the rod has been adjusted too long that could cause this-have you done any master cyl. work? If releasing press. doesnt help then your caliper could be at fault-Also when the brakes are warm or hot they will not spin real fast-there are springs behind the cyl. pistons to keep the pads against the rotor-could be normal resistance

After reading your post again and both calipers are a problem it sounds like a mast cyl. problem-try just cracking frt.line on mast. cyl. and then closing.If this does it your mast. cyl. is at fault or the rod connecting it or pedal binding up-could be wrong mast. cyl.
