Quick question on the differential

The drivers' side yoke stays in place, no slop there...
Now, I checked to see if there was leakage, or any kind of wear on the end of the pinion yoke that did come out, but it looks to be in very good shape... I'm trying to get it up and running, and rebuild the suspension (and detail it all out) in about six months, when I have the time to tear into it and make it all "proper."
So, my question is, is this something I can just leave be, for a little while? I've neither the expertise nor $$$ to throw at the differential right now, so I'm just trying to get it on the road, and enjoy it, for the summer... (besides, my work has me SO busy that I don't have the extra time to devote to a full-on rear end rebuild... that'll change this winter)
What do you say? Is it doable, knowing I'm gonna' go through this come winter?
Thanks in advance,
Eric

You have to know, I've been screwing around with this car for about 3 years now, and it's still not been on the road. I had decided to get it rolling, at least for a little while...
BTW, could you PM me about your rebuild kits that are mentioned in your thread? After looking at your thread on building the diff, and considering I've rebuilt everything else in the car? Well, I can't see any honest reason why I wouldn't do this, as well...
Looking forward to your reply,
Eric
