Since it's an end take off rack it's critical that the rack width is spot on perfect for our geometry. Since the rack looks to be hanging low like steeroids syhstem it means that the rack width (pivot to pivot) is less than 16".. a lot less. That means that it will have a limited rack travel.

Looking at that pic it seems that the rack is too wide, the pivots (behind the dust boots) seem to be about in line with the inside of the frame. For a comparison, the steeroids bracket has the 2 toe rod holes in about the correct position for their location, just look at how narrow it is there. It's impossible to fit an ETO rack in there without having geometry issues and bumspteer problems. The only way to gain rack width is to mount the rack up higher because then the lines between the 2 cross shafts (upper & lower) spread apart. This is one of the reasons why I used a 16.75" wide rack and mounted it in front, there's room up front (after some hefty cutting..and there are benefits to front steering) to use the proper rack width. The lower you moutn your rack the narrower it has to be to be compliant with the suspension geometry.

The Mustang guys have been beta testing them for a while now. They were having a lot of problems with the fit, especially with headers and a manual transmission.

MJ355,
You should have had a look at my rack at the convention.
A rear mount rack can be done with ETO and zero bump steer.
Do they include new steering arms? I used a VL Commodore rack and had to shorten the steering arms to get enough steering lock to rub tyres on the chassis. It's been in there since '02 with no problems.
