This may be a good question for the guys in c5 or c6 but anyway...I need floormats and saw that some mats have a v shaped section cut out of the passenger floormat and some don't. What fits best ?

these are for a 73. dont know if the same for your year. the ''v'' on the right mat(passenger side) is for the trans hump.b. t .w . these are oxblood cut pile,, and are for sale-------------------------------------------

I'm going to get red carpet and I need black floor mats to match the black seats and dashboard. Unfortunately Oxblood won't match .
I figured that the cutout is for the trans tunnel but I am wondering how the mats fit without that cutout.... I guess they won't fit too good.....
