Well, the Van knocked down my recently delivered PERFECT (Really!!!) Ducati M900 Cromo from Ebay and now my C3 is gonna be submerged in water... I hate this garage.
Man that sucks, start blowing up some rafts pronto!!!! Get it outa there!
Nice bike, I had a red 2003 Monster 750. Absolutely beautiful bike and a beast on the road. Some day I'll have another one. I also got mine off e-bay, drove up to boston to take delivery.
Good luck and be careful.
If the water is still rising, I'd do something quick.
Get a new tarp, jack up teh car and get the tarp underneath.
Then, wrap the sides and tie up to keep water out of your vette.
That - or get a flatbed to pull it out (if height allows).
Sucks about the Ducati - but it could have been worse ...
coulda been a $15,000 HD.

Nah, Nhvette is right... got this 1999 M900 cromo for only $7,000 on Ebay... actually a high price to pay for it but it was truly perfect mechanically and cosmetically with nice carbon fiber mods.
Ducati 'monsters' aren't the cheapest bikes but relatively affordable, especially used ones.
The Vettes alright... the workers in the van that dropped my Duc fixed the leaks but won't fix my bike.
Perhaps to a Ducati lover, but I see a 2002 M900 priced on Ebay (only one) at the
same level as the lowest of all HDs - 883 Sportster (same year and mileage).
Compare to a 2002 Road King and the price more than doubles.
While I don't agree with pricing of used HDs, the numbers are right there to see.
I hope we don't have to find out how much the vette is worth.
DAMN - how much damage more that the broken control/lever ?
Hopefully not too bad that you have to chase them into court.
Good luck !!
Don't let them bastads get away with damaging your bike!!!!!
Got my Monster 750 for $4,500 in perfect condition only 5k miles and proof of all maintenance. God it was beautiful.....great...now I want another bike
I like the tarp idea if the water doesn't go too high. Good luck!
Sorry guys. I'm way out of the loop here.
Who is the Van?
Why can't you get the vette out of the rising water?
Cars are parked in an underground garage connected to my apartment... heavy rain that day and water was pouring in from somewhere & workers in a van came in to repair it.
I'm just venting about them knocking over my bike and the crappy condition of that garage that costs $$$ to park in.
