Default its alive :)

well i went out and worked on my car and got the last few things done and it started up on the first try OMG it sounds like a beast and she ran on her own without me having to throtle it accept for the first few minutes just as a break in but sense the cam and lifters are the same ones that i had before i didnt feel like i had to run it for the 20 minutes like i did before. i am so excited and now i just need to let her cool down and check for leaks and check the fluid levels.

Congratulations.
When I recently installed my new motor I was so excited I called the guy at the machine shop that put it together for me and held the phone up to the tailpipe so he could hear it run. I hadn't heard it run in over 10 long years.
I know how you feel. It's a great feeling.
Now you can enjoy a Corvette summer.

well it is still far from driving on the streets but i did go out and start it again and added some trany fluid and let her run for about a half an hour till i put her back in the garage. she sounded so mean just sitting there idleing and watching her shake side to side because of the huge cam in her. well now that i have a headache from breathing exhaust fumes i think i will go back outside for some fresh air and to clean up the mess i made in the driveway from moving stuff out of the way so i could pull it out. OMG i am so excited. now when i am working on the car and i get frustrated and feel like there is no end in sight i can just start the car and listen to her and i will feel much better

well i set the timing on it today. that edelbrock EFI kit is so easy to set up it idles between 1000 and 1100 while in park and about 700 to 800 while in gear and it sounds so awsome. well the next big project is bleeding the breaks and getting the working like they are suppose to but that is where im not a pro. well after letting the car run for about 45 minutes in the drive way it sounded like the valves were going to need to be adjusted but that is to be expected sense i only adjusted the just before the initial start up and that was it so far and now that every thing has warmed up and broke in its now time for the real adjustment. i have sunday off so i will get a video of it running and post it on here for everyone to see. oh yah and did i mention that i am so friggin excited
