When i was in the process of looking for my first car i was open minded wanted a vette but was open. Well i found a 1923 tbucket for sale but was in peices, it had a 302 ford motor with a pair of Chevy, and ford small block sidepipes. It was about 70% complete. Then around a month later i found my vette i purchased.
Now every time i see a Tbucket, i wonder did i make the right decision of buying the 78 corvette, over a 23 Tbucket...:o
(didnt buy the tbucket because i needed a DD to go to high school and it didnt have a Top or windows or doors....and o ya ITS A FORD )
I will try and find these pictures the guy sent of the tbucket for you guys. It was blue with a powercoated black frame, and pin striping on it. and a turtle hump back end.
You'll have plenty of time for a T bucket later in life if that's what you really want. I think an '81 is about as impractical as you'd want to get for now.
302 is a V8
I really like that TBucket, I wanted that in highschool really bad (still do) but went practical for a 78 vette.
Some day I will have one! and a private jet! and 7 supermodel gf's! and then I wake up.
How much was that T-bucket going for? did he sell it?
He only wanted 4.5k for it, I think there cool because how different looking they are, but thats why i didnt buy it was practibility for High school... He probably sold it by now, i have to look in my other comps email, and find those pics and info on it.... I forget what work was needed for it.
But when i go out to my vette i think i did the right thing... but my dad told me if i ever want to sell my car hes behind me, and will help me with w.e my choice of a differnt car is.... When he was young he drove a different car each year....sold his camaro for a vette, the vette for a 280zx, and then i forget after that..
But i doubt ill sell my vette, i want to keep it out of a bubbas hands for the rest of its life
