Default A '69 without chrome bumpers

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-...QQcmdZViewItem

I found this on Ebay, doesn't look that bad, but I would rather have the chrome bumpers.

From the description:

"The vehicle has never been smoked in", followed by, "I am not the original owner".

Hmmmm.

Who cares if the car has been smoked in? It's a rough old incorrect project car.

Gotta love it, the "smoking police" is now on EBAY. Chuck

Would be expensive to get back to chrome bumpers. Unless you like it as-is, take that into account.

The big rig tail lights are a nice touch.

After seeing pics of this '69, I see where these cars got their name - SHARK.

Personally I think it looks pretty damn cool, actually...back end could do with some different taillights though.

It looks like the headlights are behind the grill area......

honestly I like that car. It's something different than looking at 15 similar cars of that year at a show. Nothing wrong with a stock 69, but you have to appriciate something different sometimes. I feel it was done cleanly and tastefully. I would rock it like it sits in a heartbeat

My Dad had a 69 Vert with a front end like that back in the late 70's. Candy red with Chrome Hooker sidepipes, 4 speed, black top, black interior and rally wheels. The rest of the body was stock. It looked great to me back then but we did get some flack about the front end from "purists" even back then. It made the car look more like what Larry Shinoda originaly had planned for the C3 in the first place.

Interesting when you compare how people embrace comments to "prototypes", but when an individual does the same, they are usually flamed. The car looks ok, I would have done things differently, but to each his own vision.
