Default Yesterday was enough to cause me to take a break

Finally got my interior pieces for my 81. I decided to use the red from the 68-72 models. Its a much brighter red then the 81 color. i bought a new dash weeks ago and when i got it,i sprayed it code 30 red which is the red from 68-72. When i placed the door panel on the door, the door panels are a bright red, but the dash is more a maroon. The dash is MUCH darker. What im wondering is if they sent me the wrong color dye. Anyone else use the red dye from 68-72 models? What was your result. was the red from the doors and dash very close?

i ended up last night taking my entire interior apart so i can try and get all the colors the same.

ideas on getting the correct bright red?

I used Krylon Fusion Red for my lower dash panels and most other plastic in the interior. I was happy with the match although it is a gloss color. If you want more information or pics email me at dunkin@smig.net.
