I make sure to stay away from Silicon products, they generally aren't considered safe for auto paint. That's why you don't see detailing happening in the same area as painting/prep in a body shop.
Stick to Meguiar's vinyl/rubber protectant. There's also other products that are Silicon-free that will give a nice shine, if that's what you are after...
whether it's sunny or not, they kill your interior. Clean it well and dust it. It should not really need anything on it at all, but if you insist, I would use a Griot's Garage or Zaino product.
Petrolium distilates ? if it says this is in it dont get it .I use stuff I get From Sonshine hotub covers(on the net) its called protectant 304 something like that it has a sun block and no distalates.im using grape mcguires its great and smells good ,for my tires I just dust the interior and use 304 it good
Been using Armorall for as long as I can remember, on my hobby cars and daily drivers. Never any problems (cracked dash) and my interiors always look great. There are probably better products, but Armorall does work.
Armor All is crap....Avoid that stuff.
I buy the majority of my care products from this site. http://www.carcareonline.com/
For vinyl and leather I go with the respective Lexol Products.
Murphy's works well, but I tried this ... works F-in fantastic:
Beeswax and orange oil ... that's the ingredients.
What a lustrous shine I have on my original 75 vinyl.

if you like Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner, then you're going to FLIP over the Zaino leather stuff!
I "was" using the Lexol stuff until I tried the Zaino leather in a bottle, the leather cleaner cleans much better than anything I have ever used, and the leather conditioner is fantastic! just wipe it on and leave it.
and the car smells like brand new leather!
