Default Stock HEI distributor?
Did a 79 vette come stock with a HEI distributor or did some people just add them on?

Pretty sure the HEI started in 75.

The GM HEI works well and lasts a long time.

HEI was standard from 75 on and is an excellent ignition system, in my opinion.
