Default u-joints for 71

putting on new u-joints i have done this before but never on a vette any helpfut tips would be nice here are a few pics check out my security system NEVER FAILs pic 2 and 7 http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bigchi.../ph//my_photos

vette 1/2 shaft joints can be a PITA depending on who did the last ones. You'll need to check the flange for being bent they bend very easily when you're hammering or pressing them out. Use a torch and burn them out and bolt the flanges to a tool or flat stock before working on them. If you're going to use Spicers then the flange have to be flat or you won't get them to fit. thanks for the tips by the looks of it getting the bolts loose will be the biggest problem looks like they have not been off in a long time.
