Default Looking for another good forum...

...for buying SBC performance parts (the used and cheap kind). Where do all the non-corvette peeps go to unload their old heads/carbs etc?

Thanks guys, those all look good, what I'm looking for is a set of complete Dart or Sportsman iron heads for 400-500. I'll lurk those forums for a while, I should be able to score.

I've had great success on ebay..then again with the dwindling dollar it's getting better by the day I always snipe, I don't want to get involved in a big bidding war.

I saw a set of iron eagles for 600$ or so, compeletely loaded, do a search.

Me too. Call me a scumbag, but if I'm buying on EBay, it's to save a few bucks. Otherwise, I'd buy from Summit or JEGS.

Didn't mean to insult the snipers (I do it too ) but it always sucks to be the "Snipee".

Cool link.

Yes, it does. That's one of the reasons that I always watch an auction close that I'm high bidder on if it's something that I really want. I've "resniped" a couple of times and beaten a sniper at his (my?) own game.

some people are just plain idiots when it comes to sniping..for instance some part is currently 50$ and you have a feeling it'll end for 60 or so. Most people enter 65$ or so but I always enter something like 69.50 or whatever....outbidding someone by 50 cents or so LOL oh the joy of that
