my 10 mpg is high compared to when my son drives the car...then its dropped down to 8 mpg.....so i say hey bobby have you been a little heavy on the pedal...he says i never go over the speed limit dad i just get there fast.....the lower first gear in the 700r4 is a blast

78 vette L-82...15 mpg
69 502.............8 mpg.
93 Toyota.........35 mpg
2006 Toyota......40 mpg

That...is a composite mileage of 24.5 mpg...works for me...

JK, I was poking fun at all the claims for increased mileage and what would happen if you added them up. I actually get about 15 -16 in town, ~14 with the AC on but It's hotter than crap down here!

My best ever was 23 on the road with a tail wind, cool weather, no ac, windows up.
I get 19 in my Tundra, I don't drive my Vette, too dang hot until the sun goes down. Then it's still hot!
