I am a previous C4 (1989 Coupe) owner who just purchased a 1972 coupe. I sold my previous corvette with the intenion of picking up a C3. I was happy with the C4, just wanted to get to the car that I have always loved the most. After searching for over 4 weeks, I have finally found her. These are pics that the previous owner had. I will take some new next week sometime. She is a numbers matching base engine car with ps,pb and automatic transmission. The headlights and wiper door work perfectly. The clock and tach work too. There is a slight brake problem that I need to take care of along with a tune up. I am sure that I will be posting for help, so hopefully, you guys can put up with me.
Welcome aboard and congrats on your purchase. That is a nice looking Vette. It appears to be in a really good shape. Can you share some of the details of the car?

The car has just over 102,000 miles on it. The motor was rebuilt at 85,000 miles. The previous owner had owned it since 1993. They are a retired couple and kept the car garaged and took it to local car shows. The frame is as clean as a Michigan frame can be. No holes, just scaling. The floor pans are in great shape. The wheel trim rings and center cap are in great shape.
The interior is in real good shape minus a few nicks and bruises here and there. The stock radio is still in the car. The air conditioning runs, but needs to be converted an may have a leak. It has the tilt/telescopic steering, but it is a little loose. I will have to do more research on this.
I really look forward to working on her and driving his car around. I just love the steel bumper cars and had looked over a few including convertibles.
