28 years old this month...Originally shipped from St.Louis by rail to Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix,Arizona on August 12,1978 to original owner...I purchased it Feb 1979 with 9,000 miles on the speedo...lot's of road trips in this one...
L-82 4 speed...

Nice to see someone keeping the vette long term like you have. I guess you should change the oil and take it for a birthday cruise for a fillup.

My wife accuses me of "favoring" the 69 over the 78...so I took it on the Amboy trip and put 698 miles on it !!

Here is first award I got...wood plaque,stick on letters...

15% contained (last night)...winds cooperating....air temps dropping...they are still holding line on east/southwest side trying to protect Morena Village and Potrero..we are ok...mandatory evacuation for 125 homes 6 miles east of us still in effect...

Our very first road trip was the PCH all the way to Crater Lake,Oregon in 1980 from San Diego.....wife was saying everything was a blur,so I told her to look out the windshield !!

Another in 82',my grandmother asked me to drive her to Tulsa,Ok...had to prop her up on two pillows so she could see out the windshield...
