Do the C5 seats go in easily? They are quite a bit more comfortable

Late model C3 seats in my '75. Minor mod to the track is all that is needed. Much more comfortable.

Yes, they are cloth. Don't get hot when I leave it parked in the sun. I think these came out of an '80 or '81.

For what it's worth, I have a set of early 80's seats (same style as those shown here) in very good condition in black vinyl that I'm no longer using and would be interested in selling.

I'm thinking they'll be a PITA to box up, but am curious what's a fair price ? I think I paid about $450 +/- a year or so ago . . . $350 plus shipping? I took `em out when I sold the car.

Haven't made the brackets for mounting yet, but decided to put in passenger seat anyway. Much more comfortable, lighter, and looks better. I'm 6'2'' and my head comes kinda close to the ttops. Bought off ebay for $450 shipped.

Default LOVE the stripes!

That's one thing about the 80's seats - - 78 pace car style, etc... they do seem to sit 'higher' in the car if you use the OEM frames they come with - - -the 69-77 seat frames might be just a tad lower to the floor and you could probably swap `em out if it was an issue.

I'd say for someone 6-2 or over, you'd just want to leave the tops off!

I'm one week away from installing my C5 seats in my 72. Purchased off of Ebay for 700.00. I plan on driving my vette a lot and liked the comfort that I had when I owned my 99..

Will let you know how it goes, the biggest challenge will be the seat belts for you. Ecklers is making great aftermarket three point seat belts for around 260.00
