A/c bracket on new intake?

A/c bracket on new intake?
I am installing a new intake and wonder if the bracket that runs from the back of my short a/c compresser will need to be put back. It attaches to the intake about half way back. I am sure that I can find a new bolt that is a little longer that the ones for the new intake. Itr would be nice to "clean" things up a little.

If your going to run AC then you need the bracket, it is part of the 3 point mount and stabilizes the top of the compressor. You might be able to get away without it, but its going to add strain to the lower brackets
