People may not be looking in his area. Many people do not want the hassle of getting a car delivered. So for the week it was listed there may not have been any vette lookers.

Hi,just a note about the steering wheel, YES it is the one you got in 77 with a non tilt/tele setup. I have the same base interior with manual windows and wheel in an orange/buckskin 4 spd L48.

A potential buyer for this '77 will have to want the modifications the seller has made. That tends to reduce the field of buyers. No idea what the reserve is, but if the seller has set the price too high in an effort to recover some of the build costs, he/she has further reduced the field of potential buyers. A potential buyer will have to want what's been done to the car AND be willing to fork over whatever the reserve is.

There are no frame pics. Anything from north of Arkansas without frame pics is highly suspect.

A garden variety '77 with the wrong motor and other obvious changes... not much value. No mysteries here.

He replied back to me, and said the car was sold locally. No other information given.

What is wrong with this car? It isn't a convertible!

Its needed an awful lot of mechanicals and interior replaced & redone and it still has original paint?

Obviously needs a paintjob and bodywork.

If that car just had a new 6K paintjob and really needs nothing else done, it would sell for around only $10,000...cause its yellow.

I don't bid on items with reserve on them. When I sell something I figure out what I would take for it and thats where I begin my auction. Thats what my reserve is.That way everybody knows what you want for it and if it goes higher you made out better!!!
