1972 vette drivers side mirror
Need some help here..........just finshed the paint and body work and now am in the process of putting the car back together
. It has been 5 years in restoration and i don't want to make any mistakes now
. I am looking for the correct placement of the drivers side mirror (stock) on the door. I have new door skin and want to mount the mirror in the correct location, i already am handicapped 
in that i do not have the plate the mirror mounting bracket mounts to on the inside of the door skin. I have some ideas about how to mount it, but would like to hear some other suggestions as well as the correct mounting position.
