Default Convertible conversion on late model c3s

How much do those conversions usually cost for the later model c3s? I've always sort of wanted a convertible and it sucks how they didn't make any for like 10 - 12 years.

Heres maybe a better break down for ya

deck-500
deck lid-150-300
hinges-100-250
glass-600
labor-2500-3000 will vary
vert top and frame-1500-4000
hardtop-500-800
floorpan pieces-300
add needed paint on top of your total

these are the main things i can think of off top of my head

Was yours a late model conversion? Not sure what year yours is so I've gotta ask. If so, how much did it cost you? I might add that to one of my last modifications in the far future.

Considering the price difference today between new coupes and convertibles (ie Corvettes and Mustangs) that actually doesn't sound that bad. Your top manual or electric?

Ah, I'd probably go with the softtop. I like being able to put it up and take it down whenever I feel. That'd probably bring the cost up a bit.

I bought mine from a body shop after it was converted and finished the rest of the car... it used a black '75 softtop.
