'71 alternator brackets
My current setup was rigged together and is now making the belt squeal at high rpms. Can someone tell/show me correct brackets please?

Is this a 71 small block?
If so the original setup bolted to the exhaust manifold.
If the original manifold isn't there anymore OR has an unusable bolt hole then you should simply purchase the 72 bracket and bolt it directly to the head. Problem solved - and it's a cheap fix. The upper bracket is the same and can be reused with the 72 bracket.

It is a 350. And I'll keep in mind that the 72 setup will work too.
I'd still like to see pics of both orginal setups. That'd help a lot.

Here you go...71 s/b setup. As you can see the upper and lower alt bracket is attached to the water pump boss. The lower bracket is also attached to the exhaust manifold.
Hope this helps you.

Hope this helps too. Between the two, you should be able to figure it out. If not, we can take more pics.

Wow! Those are great! Now I know what I should have there.
Ed T found a 72 set with the solid triangilar lower bracket which I am going to try.
Thanks to all for the help.
