When I opened your thread & saw your vette I said to myself why change anything on that vette it looks great.

Then I scrolled down to the next pic and said outloud "WOW" man it looks like a totally different car. It went from looking great to looking awesome

They are the 17" American Racing TTII's Polished on Sumitomo 245/45/17's that TomZWheels was/is selling for $999.
You cannot beat that price, the tires alone are $400 at the TireRack.
I only had to lower the rear end about 1/2 at the rear bolt, and the previous owner had those spring helpers that you twist in, I took those out and it gave me a nice profile, I had it lower but my driveway inclines (as you can see in the pic) just enough for the exhaust to scrape, but I got that fixed.
NEXT is for some SIDEPIPES!!!

I should have asked before, what is the back spacing? I've got to have a set of those for my '80.

I usually don't like the low-profile or too slammed look on these cars, but yours is just GORGEOUS. Looked great before, looks incredible now. Just wicked.

You're right about TomZwheels having the best prices. I got an outstanding price just for the wheels. Sorry guys, but he asked me not to advertise the price - something about he is not 'supposed' to make them public. I was expecting the shipping to offset the good deal, but it did not. I will definately buy from him.

Those are much nicer than the red X's you had on there before.
Seriously – NICE
I want TT's too but I want the original looking ones.

Wow!!! your car really looks sharp and now makes me wish I had ordered the wheels as well. I seriously had to do a double take look as I thought you had lowered your car also, but I guess the lower profile tires just give it a lowered look.

Cheers...

I am a throw-back for the original alloy wheels myself. Although, it does look like the new set-up has lowered the car a few inches?
Looks sweet!
