brake lights dnt work...

its me again...how do i fix brake lights that dont work when the pedal is depressed while the car is running? the light bulbs are brand new...

Bad contact somewhere.
Bad ground.
Bad switch.
Blown fuse.

Check the wire that connects to the brake fluid distribution block... it probably fell off.

Use a 12vdc test light and have someone press the pedal. Check for power on the wire into the socket, the black wires are grounded together and rust and break. If you have 12 vdc there then rig up a test wire to a good ground and ground the socket to see it the bulb lights up. If you don't have power back trace to the fuse block.
