Originals were made out of metal? I was looking through some catalogs and seen fiberglass ones you have to paint for around $300, but wondering how these actually turn out and look. Then I seen the factory replacements going for over $2k I can't believe side covers cost as much as the whole dam suspension package I bought.
Seriously considering no covers at all and risk the burns. The covers I have now have bubbling and pitting pretty bad and seem to be plastic or fiberglass.
