Center gauge cluster - See Pic
Trying to figure out how this plastic lens attached to the cluster - 79 model. See the 3 open square holes? Something goes in there to attach the lens. You can see the parts that I left at the bottom- not sure where those go as well 
Anyone know what goes in those 3 holes? Its been a long time since I took this apart.

Try looking at it another way. Take the lens off of the gauges and place it in your center console gauge housing (bezel), it will fit neatly, then install the gauge cluster behind the lens. The lens will be sandwiched in place.
I just did my gauges in my 79 last night.
Does your clock work? I learned how to fix mine here on the CF and it didn't cost a thing!

Thanks...I see how it fits in there 
I haven't tried the clock yet but I did send to someone on Ebay to fix it.
I think it was around $40. It was not converted to Quartz as some are..
