Default Hello, I'm new here

Hello, my name is Mauro and I'm happy I found this forum. I'm not too shabby when it comes to computers, so my son Paul will be helping me out with posting on here. I'm 55 years old and I've loved Corvettes ever since I saw my first 1967 427 when I was around 15 years old. I dont quite have a 67, I got the numbers mixed up, but my 76 will do. It is a very road-worthy, drivable car. I've had it for a little over 4 years now. Its white with fire thorn red interior. L48 with 114,000 original miles. Ever since I've bought it, I have done many upgrades.

**Interior

-New door panels
-New door sills
-New seats
-Factory power windows
-Factory A/c
-Aftermarket corvette 'deck'
-2 6x9's in the back with upgraded front components
-Rear tint

**Engine/Exhaust

Rebuilt rochester 850cfm
Recurved distributor
Petronix ignition w/ AC wires
Redtop battery
Aluminum valve covers
Chrome alternator
Various chrome engine accessories
Magnaflow cats with 40 series flowmasters

**Suspension/Brakes/Tires/Misc

Bilstein adjustable gas shocks front and rear
7 leaf rear spring (swapped from fiberglass monospring)
BFgoodrich 245/60/15
New brakes and calipers
New radius arms
New front grand touring springs
New front and rear fiberglass bumpers

I'm sure there is more to list and things I left out but off the top of my heads thats about it. I'm very happy with the car. Hopefully I can talk to other enthusiasts with similar C3's and share ideas, gain information, and so on. Looking forward to browsing around this site. Thanks.

-Mauro

Mauro,
Welcome to the best Corvette forum on the internet.
Lots of good people here who are always willing to help with suggestions and ways for you to spend your money.
I'm 59 and have had my 68 coupe since 1972. I just spent last 10 years completely restoring it to factory new condition and I would not have accomplished this task without the help of the many good people on this forum.
I think you're gonna like it here.
We get a little rowdy sometimes but don't take it personal; no harm intended.
Enjoy your new toy,
Kurt
