Who has seen this car? Ive seen them in the showroom and I think it is awesome. I will be getting one when they start selling for sticker price.
Out here in So. Cal the minimum mark-up I can find is 40K. Unbelievable!, but who came blame them if people pay it. What is the mark up in other parts of the country?

I hope to see one this weekend at the Woodward Dream Cruise.
I work kitty-corner to a Ford dealership. Right now he has three nice Mustang GT's and a Ford GT with the Gulf Oil racing paint job sitting out. Nice cars.
I think the new Shelby is awesome. I have always been a fan of the new Mustang (flame suit on) and would consider one. I happen to think the new Camaro is not that cool looking but will reserve my judgment until I see on on the road.
I think that there are some very cools out right now.

That is crazy money as far as I am concerned. No way would I ever give over sticker for any vehicle.

For $40K over sticker you could buy a C6 Z06.
And still have beer money left!Why would anybody spend $40k on a Ford? it's a led sled! ..Car and Driver already put it up against a stock 06 C6 and the vette whupped it! Nuf said

we sold ours for sticker price, the average around here is 10 over. to me thats not right, I don't care if it is a shelby or a new Z06. cars should not sell for over sticker. if you pay over sticker you know you are getting screwed

I dont know what one they were talking about a couple weeks ago but im not sure who would think 500 hp is underpowered. Overweight, definetly, and overpriced at least for the time being with the 40K mark up.

Base for the GT500 coupe is $41,500 so for 40K over that would be $81,500??
You have to admit a 500HP convertible is pretty tempting. Hope the driver's are responsible to respect that type of horsepower.
