I already have a copy of the build sheet from the NCM and thought I could feel the tank copy but wasn't 100% sure until last night.
Pulled the spare tire tub off to check the diff fluid - getting ready for a road trip to BG/NCM over Labor Day and decided to see if I could catch a glimpse of the build sheet.
Looking good huh? I'll leave her right there for now. In case anyone is wondering, I'm laying on my back with my head towards the front of the car. I pulled the top piece of the spare tire tub down, almost in half (it's very flexable) - and there she was!
where do you think mine would be,,,on a 69 Stingray,,,
my spare tires isnt in my car, so would be easy to spy that location if that is where it may be
thanks, tim
Same place. The factory glued a copy on the top left side of the fuel tank. Copies have also been found up under the dash pad, in the seat tracks and a number of other locations through the car.
Good luck finding yours.
I might make that a fall/winter project - dropping the tank. For right now that picture beside the copy of the build sheet from the NCM will be pretty cool at car shows.
SBChvy, the NCM can provide a copy of most '82 build sheets (some were lost). I don't think there is a source for '81 and back.
