2 tone my interior
some of you may remember a few months ago
when i was trying to decide whether to 2 tone my interior or not.
well thanks to a great steal on Ebay i have decided TO my eyes
it will look excellent once completed.
i picked these up off of Ebay for $45 shipped for the pair, they have the 79 color doeskin carpet that i want to use and figured for that price it would be worth the shot.
i dyed them last night and am extremely happy with the color combination and will order the carpet set this weekend to complete the job hopefully while on vacation later this month.
here is a couple of shots of the passengers side completed
by the way VHT dye is the best i have ever worked with.

Are you going to do the rest of the parts that color too?
That will look pretty good with the light carpet.
I was considering going the opposite direction. Doeskin with black carpet.

thanks for the compliments.
everything will be brown in the car except the carpet on the
door,floor and console.
i was a little leary at first but after seeing the door panels
i think it looks good and will definitely be different

in any case all i have ever used is spray nine and the plastic
scrubby pads to deep clean then i wipe with a clean shop rag and water
then clean one more time just before dying with spray nine and wipe dry with paper towels.
have never had any problems with the dye coming off using this method.
