Well, there IS, but usually it involves several cases of lime Jello.

I know what you mean, though...Nothing better than hearing the noise of the exhaust over the sounds of something like Foghat, Deep Purple, or Led Zep.

I'm looking forward to doing something similar in our Jaguar next week, as the Vette is non-functional right now due to the spun rod bearing...

Sounds like a nice little cruise to me. I am going to miss most of the fall cruising with work this year. We start 6-10's this week and it is supposed to go until Thanksgiving.

nothing better to me than cruising in a classic car and listening to classic rock. it takes you back to a time when life was much more relaxed and simple.

I wish I knew what that was like. I probably won't be driving my 'vette for a while.

I'm 17 and prefer the old over the new. The only new stuff I like is underground metal.

The only way to break in a new stereo system properly is by firing up "Black Dog and the "The Immigrant Song", followed of course by "Stairway to Heaven"...make sure the volume is set to "Ear-bleed" level....;only then is the system ready for "lesser" rock....

I can listen to new or classic rock as long as it's good.

Uhm...I'm actually not that old...I'm 29. I've just got a taste for classic rock.

And depending on which rock stations you listen to around here, Guns n' Roses classifies as classic rock...Paradise City and Sweet Child o' Mine are great to blast when you're doing a cruise.

BTW, don't say anything bad about Dylan. While the man can't seem to sing worth a darn, most of the songs done by some great rockers/bands now are songs that were originally written by Dylan.

"Knockin' on Heaven's Door" that GnR did, that was a cover of the Bob Dylan song.

At any rate, cruise nights are going to be ending soon, what with school starting soon for a lot of people...

"Ear Bleed Level"? Would that be 11 on the dial?

Black Dog is great, not a fan of "Immigrant Song". Prefer "When the Levee Breaks" more.
