Default '78 console lamp

Has anyone here ever attempte to change the console lamp that shines down on the HVAC controll by taking out the glovebox and changing it? Mine burnt out and I am hoping to not have to disassemble the entire console again. I can get it out in about (20) minutes that way, but I am tyring to avoid the seats, side panels, etc.

If I remember, I changed mine by tipping the gauge console foward just enough to get my hand in there to replace the bulb. I know I didn't have to completely remove the console. Don't forget that that bulb is a special bulb with a lens built into it so the light is focused on the heater/A/C controls. Good luck!

Yea I have done it before, and did it when I removed the console. Unfortunately to tip the console panel down I have to unscrew it underneath as well. I am going to see if I can get to it from the glovebox first, if not, then I will have to do what I have to do!
