Lites for gagues....source??
Have an '81....where could I get the lite sockets that twist into the flex-circuit to illuminate the gauges at?
Is this something that a local auto parts store carry? I have seen them only available at Zips for $3 each....gotta be a better price somewhere...????

The sockets that twist into the printed circuit? They make contact along the edges...I'm not sure what else uses something like that. They may be a Corvette-only thing. Ask your local NAPA to flip through their lighting catalog, they might be able to find them.

also if you hit the u-pull it yard reach up under the dash and grab them
while you are there. i had never thought about doing it until a friend of mine told me he had a whole cup full of them of course he couldnt find the cup when i needed them for mine.
