just bought a powermaster XS mini gear reduction starter. i'm not a professional mechanic or an engineer so excuse the ignorant questions.
on my stock starter i have a large diameter terminal where the battery cable connects and a smaller terminal where the solenoid wire connects.
on the powermaster there is a large and a small terminal also. BUT
the large terminal is labeled "ignition" and the small terminal is labeled "bat". am i missing something here. isn't that backwards from my stock starter? or is it just different terminology.
